Rubbish Film Festival Showcase

Waterford City & County Council is proud to champion youth creativity and environmental awareness through the Rubbish Film Festival. Our joint commitment to sustainable development ensures that young filmmakers not only learn new media skills but also gain an understanding of how local actions contribute to global change.

This is the 2nd year that the Festival has run in partnership with Waterford City & County Council. Over 80 students in 8 secondary schools across County Waterford directly participated in an onsite two-day workshop focused on environmental storytelling through film.
