Rubbish Film Festival Showcase

Limerick County Council is proud to champion youth creativity and environmental awareness through the Rubbish Film Festival. Our joint commitment to sustainable development ensures that young filmmakers not only learn new media skills but also gain an understanding of how local actions contribute to global change.

This is the first year that the Festival has run in partnership with Limerick City & County Council. Almost 50 students from 5 secondary schools across the Limerick region directly participated in an onsite two-day workshop focused on environmental storytelling through film.
