About…
The Rubbish Film Festival is designed to ignite students' creativity and environmental awareness. Created specifically for Transition Year students, the festival gives them a platform to showcase their artistic talents, enhance their media literacy skills, and raise awareness of important environmental issues like climate action. Through the festival, students learn new digital storytelling techniques to express their ideas.
Participating schools receive free admission to the Festival for Schools, which includes a two-day on-site workshop, access to valuable resources, and ongoing support, with the County Council covering all associated costs.
